Sean Forrest
Acoustic
rock musician and author Sean Forrest tells
it like it is. His performances and retreats
combine powerful music, humor, and
from-the-heart witnessing to break down the
walls that have been built up by the world.
Knowing the danger of watering down the
Catholic faith and sugarcoating the Truth,
he hits issues head-on in order to challenge
teens and people of all ages to stop being
lukewarm and open their hearts to the
mission of serving Christ.
A
songwriter from an early age, Sean always
had a love for Jesus, but got distracted by
the world as he grew older, immersing
himself in the secular party scene, resort
life and all things worldly. But God would
put faith-filled loved ones, physically
disabled children and a powerful series of
experiences in his path to lead him to a
profound conversion to the Catholic faith
and deep commitment to spread the Word of
the Gospel.
Sean has
been putting in for overtime throughout the
United States at concerts, conferences and
retreats – wherever he is led to get the
word out that only God can save our lives.
He has performed at such venues as the
National Catholic Youth Conference, World
Youth Day, the Steubenville Conferences, the
Creation Festival, and SoulFest. His list of
events includes performances alongside such
prominent
Christian artists as P.O.D., Michael W.
Smith, Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, and
Jars of Clay.
Sean has
been honored by the United Catholic Music
and Video Association with two awards,
including Best New Artist of the Year. He
has produced five albums –
Gonna Need
a Hand, Sailed My Boat, Can't Look Back,
Best of Times,
and
Wake Up Dead People. In
addition, his book,
From Happy
Hour to Holy Hour, which tells
the story of his personal conversion and
deals with many difficult and controversial
issues of living a life of faith in this
world, has gone into its second printing
along with his second book,
Freedom. Through it all, he is forever grateful for the
opportunity that the Lord is giving him to
reach out and open hearts in His name.
